We were commissioned by the Christchurch City Council to produce a documentary on the 150th anniversary of the 2nd Canterbury Nelson Marlborough West Coast Battalion Group (2Cants) as part of BECA Heritage Week. The council used the premiere of this 22-minute film at the heritage week’s opening celebrations at the Christchurch Art Gallery.
‘Citizen Soldier Ake Ake Kia Kaha’ was shown throughout the heritage week and has screened on CTV November 2009 and ANZAC weekend 2010.
